Taking a piece of stone and bringing all the wonderful colors and variations out from within, is so rewarding. Wood is another feeling-
being able to still maintain some of the beauty
from a fallen tree, that it had when it was living,
gives another emotion.
I love the flowing forms that can be found within them!
My wish is that I can instill in my students
some of the same feelings that sculpture brings to me--
